About WiFi QR Code Generator
WiFi QR Code Generator turns your network's SSID + password into a QR code that any modern phone can scan to join automatically — no typing, no whispering the password across the counter, no laminated sticky note under the router. Print the resulting "Scan to Connect" card for reception, coffee tables, guest rooms, meeting rooms, or your fridge.
The QR follows the standard WiFi QR spec (WIFI:T:WPA;S:...;P:...;;) so it's recognized by iOS (14+), Android (10+), all modern camera apps, and every QR scanner. Special characters are properly escaped, hidden networks are supported, and open networks work with the "None" option.
100% client-side: your SSID and password are never uploaded. Generation happens in your browser using a self-hosted QR encoder. Safe for home, corporate, or paying-guest networks.
How to use WiFi QR Code Generator
Enter network details
Type your exact SSID + password. If it's an open network, pick "None" — no password needed.
Pick a security type
WPA/WPA2/WPA3 is by far the most common. WEP only for very old routers. Hidden networks need the toggle on.
Customize the card
Pick a style, edit the title/subtitle, choose accent color, and optionally add your logo.
Download or print

Security & Privacy
- 100% client-side: the QR is generated in your browser. Your SSID and password never touch our servers.
- Works offline: once the page loads, disconnect and it still works.
- No logging: we don't see, store, or transmit your network credentials.
- Print carefully: anyone with a phone can join your network by scanning a printed QR. Only display it where you'd be OK with someone joining — a public café is fine; the outside of your house isn't.
- Rotate periodically: for high-traffic venues, rotate the password every few months. Guests who scanned once won't need to rescan until they re-enter range.
- Separate guest network: for home use, generate a QR for your guest network (VLAN-isolated) rather than your main network — protects your personal devices.
